Meraki House – stylish holiday villa with sea view in Crete

Welcome to Meraki House – your peaceful, stylish and soulful retreat in the sunny southeast of Crete. Completed in July 2025, this modern holiday villa above Makrigialos offers accommodation for up to eight people – ideal for families or groups of friends seeking relaxation, sunshine and a tastefully designed home away from home.

Surrounded by olive trees and with breathtaking views of the deep blue sea and the Cretan mountains, this natural-toned holiday home radiates clarity and calm. Inside, warm beige tones and natural materials create a modern, Mediterranean sense of comfort and ease.

The open-plan living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opens to a spacious terrace with a shaded pergola, outdoor lounge furniture, al fresco dining area and a pool with counter-current system. The pool can be optionally heated (daily energy charge applies) – perfect for cooler months.

A second, side terrace with cozy lounge furniture offers a quiet place to relax with stunning views of the Cretan mountains.

The main bedroom is located on the upper floor and features a private balcony with sea view and its own en-suite shower bathroom. Two more en-suite bedrooms with balconies are also located upstairs. Each bedroom has an open-plan dressing room. On the ground floor, there is a fourth en-suite bedroom and an additional guest WC.

All bathrooms are equipped with pleasant underfloor heating. For year-round comfort, air conditioning in every room also functions as heating. A rooftop photovoltaic system provides sustainable electricity for hot water and daily use.

With the beach just a 15-minute walk away, and tavernas, cafés and shops nearby, Meraki House is the perfect place for relaxed holidays in Crete. A rental car is highly recommended to explore hidden coves, additional beaches and the authentic tavernas of the region.
